Today is Homeless Day, and during our meeting we watched a short video which told us a little about the work of the Salvation Army Lifehouses.

We were reminded by Major David that many are still experiencing spiritual homelessness because of the many month spent without interaction with other Christians – they are feeling lost and anxious, and are finding it difficult to get back into the habit of church life again. He asked us to consider what people see or feel when they walk through the doors of our church. Do they see something in our church, and in us, that will encourage them to come back to worship with us here?

The band brought our worship to a conclusion as we played ‘Lord, If Your Presence’.
