Morning worship 15/04/2018

All Heaven Declares
The glory of the risen Lord.
Who can compare
With the beauty of the Lord?
Forever You will be
The Lamb upon the throne.
I gladly bow the knee
And worship You alone.

I will proclaim
The glory of the risen Lord.
Who once was slain
To reconcile man to God.
Forever You will be
The Lamb upon the throne.
I gladly bow the knee
And worship You alone.

These are the words associated with the music the band played as the call to worship today.

Major Chris reminded us this morning that Jesus meets us just where we are – physically, spiritually and emotionally.

During worship the band played Leonard Ballantine’s arrangement of Mid All The Traffic:

Mid all the traffic of the ways,
Turmoils without, within,
Make in my heart a quiet place,
And come and dwell therein.

A little shrine of quietness,
All sacred to thyself,
Where thou shalt all my soul possess,
And I may find myself.

A little place of mystic grace,
Of self and sin swept bare,
Where I may look upon Thy face,
And talk with Thee in prayer.

Come, occupy my silent place,
And make thy dwelling there!
More grace is wrought in quietness
Than any is aware.

At the conclusion of the meeting the band played Lord I Come To You:

Lord, I come to You,
Let my heart be changed, renewed,
Flowing from the grace,
That I found in You
Lord, I’ve come to know,
The weaknesses I see in me,
Will be stripped away,
By the power of Your love

Hold me close,
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near,
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait,
I’ll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You,
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your Love

Lord unveil my eyes,
Let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love,
As You live in me
Lord renew my mind,
As Your will unfolds in my life
In living every day,
In the power of Your Love
