The band visited Giffnock South Parish Church to share the Christmas message with the the people there. It was a bitterly cold and icy night but a good number of people still came along to share the evening with us.
Soloists tonight were:
- Lynn Shanks with the flugel horn solo Away in a Manger
- Willie young shared the tuba solo I Dream of Jeannie

The reflective part of the programme started with YP Band Leader Chris Shanks playing the euphonium solo In Gardens of Peace before Band Sergeant David Kendall shared some reflections about the shepherds. The band then concluded this part of the programme with the Who Is He?
The congregation got the chance to sing tonight as they joined with the band in a number of Christmas carols.
