I came across an old notebook of mine, a couple of weeks ago, and found Iโd written the following quote inside the front cover.
Iโm not sure where I originally found this quote, or who said it, but it must have struck a chord with me previously write it in a notebook. I have to say that since I found that notebook again, I have found myself thinking about this quote on a number of occasions.
Am I a good example of a Christian? It may surprise you that my honest answer to that question is definitely not!
Iโm far from perfect, and fail as a Christian on many occasions. However when I look back at who I used to be, I realise that I am very much a different person today than than I was when I gave my heart to God, a number of years ago. Yes, I believed in God at that time, but looking back I see now that itโs only through my life experiences that I can definitely say, I am โa much improved version of who I used to beโ, because my relationship with God has grown stronger, and my faith in Him has grown stronger.
How about you, can you honestly say you are a great example of Christianity, or are you like me, โa much improved version of who you used to beโ? Itโs never to late to start becoming a much improved version of yourselfโฆwith Godโs help of course!
